The Raptors are a Successor Chapter of the Raven Guard, created in the Second Founding.
The Chapter as a whole expresses a great skill at marksmanship, even by Astartes standards. It is uncertain if this is innate in the gene-seed or a result of superb training.
The Raptors are quite deliberately vague in any discussions of their homeworld, a world named Numina, Ra or Badwater somewhere in the Sutter Spiral Nebula of the Segmentum Solar.
